Flash Animation for Trinity Mirror Group |
Trinity Mirror Plc commissioned Atomic Design to create an animation celebrating their media brands including 240 local and regional newspapers, five national newspapers and four sports titles, as well as over 100 websites and a variety of magazines, directories and exhibitions.
The project involved converting over 300 newspaper covers and 50 website homepages into a montage animation that would be projected across 3 large screens at the Preliminary Results presentations in February.
The style of the animation had to sit with their corporate branding and reflect the new cover design of the 2006 Annual Report keeping a landscape format, run an unlimited number of times and appear different each time while showing a certain number of the larger brands prominently.
A cut-down version of the animation has also been compressed and optimised for the web, sitting on the company's homepage.
